I would rather be smart than pretty/handsome the rest of my life. One reason is because if I were really smart, I would get a good job. With that good job, I would get a better pay. With that money, I would pay to be better-looking. If I were just pretty for the rest of my life, I would not be smart. It would take work to become smart. Additionally, I could also be successful and probably would not have to work again. One last reason is that one cannot loses one' s intelligence. Looks can be destroyed in an accident or a fire, while intelligence can't. In the future, I hope to be smart and not depend on looks for my success.
