Yes, I do think that parent should FOCUS on regulating their child's health. Obesity can lead to diseases such as diabetes and heart conditions. It can also cause depression for people that are obese. A big asspect of health CONSISTS of diet and exercise. By preparing nutritious meals and promoting exercise parents can teach their child APPROPRIATE ways to be healthy.
Parents are a big part of their teens health even they might not notice it some times and it is something they should take in concern to prevent those diseases.
